Steve has won an award for his online writing skills. The CiB award was for features written for Arena, Aviva plc's global intranet.

Steve was also shortlisted in the Aerospace Journalist of the Year awards. The nomination was for a feature jointly-written with Karen Walker for Flight Daily News at the Farnborough Air Show.
