West Coast USA - K6KPH
How to read the charts
The chart shows the best frequency
to use. The "hotter" the slot, the higher the probability of making the contact on that band.
These
are based on CW, 100W, dipole to dipole and a "good" reception.
Adjust the reliability according to your own station. CW (Morse) offers a big advantage.

West Coast USA
Reliability/Band graph produced by VOACAP Online
This shows that to work the West Coast USA from the UK, 20m (14 MHz) or
17m, (18MHz) are your best bets. 21MHz (15m) might work for you after dark
This is a tough path and K6KPH at Point Reyes will not come on until 5pm GMT (6pm BST) anyway.
They will be CW only on 20m/17m/15m if they are on, but they do run lots of power.
